I Love Fabulous is well, all about fabulousness. Feeling fabulous, looking fabulous, sharing fabulous and being fabulous! 

I (Donna Mathews) started the blog in 2010 - just wanting to share beautiful things I found while I was living in France - especially fashion and decor for my kids. Since then the blog has evolved to encompass many things that I am passionate about, music, fashion, design, innovative advertising and marketing ideas.

14 years in the advertising industry in SA and France has brought me to a point where I’m saturated by unconscious consumerism driving materialism, so although I share beautiful things, it is more as inspiration than trying to feed desire. I love fashion, but I don’t spend huge amounts of money on clothes, when I shop I try to buy second hand and I love to mix up styles and wear old clothes in new ways. 

I love my life - it’s busy as a single mom of two, and working as a freelance creative strategist in advertising and also as a stylist in the event and fashion industry. I believe one should live your passion, which is often not financially as rewarding as fitting the mold of society - but life is too short to waste doing things you don’t love, or at least like! I hope to inspire change in the way us humans live and consume as well as our value system which has failed everyone. 

And that’s pretty much that.. use what I say as a catalyst to create your own style, make your own mark and just be happy living your life, even if it’s simply. Back to basics is the way forward.. and as I evolve so will my blog, and my about page.. which has now changed 3 times.. so go on, change, grow and create your perfect life.
